AMERICANA

"Americana" is a dynamic, ongoing series that I work on year by year as a continual homage to my homeland. Drawing inspiration from the colloquial, the everyday, and the kitsch elements of my culture, I craft works of art from a medley of found imagery, discarded objects, vinyl, paint, clothing, found canvas, and assorted structures. Within this body of work, you'll find pieces that possess both raw, unvarnished beauty and unapologetic ugliness, mirroring the multifaceted and layered nature of America itself.
